“Flowers, music and children make the beauty of our life” so said Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, outstanding Russian composer, one of the most lyrical and widely performed music authors.
His music, namely the “Children's Album” was performed in a concert that took place on February 10th, 2023, at "Luiza-V" Music School. The concert was prepared and organized by the faculty members Karine Hovhannisyan and Ani Fahradyan. The idea of the concert belonged to Karine Hovhannisyan, but without Ani Fahradyan’s support the evening would not be as beautiful and complete.
Children shared the stage with their teachers and it gave the evening warm and creative atmosphere. During the concert, all 24 pieces of the cycle were performed. Each single piece of the Album has a small plot. Together, they reflect the world as seen by the children. The titles of the pieces further explain this world and make it exciting for the children. During the concert, interesting facts about the content and the creation of the Album were introduced.
At the end of the concert children received beautiful memory cards. The evening was very emotional for performers and the audience alike.
