On November 16, the second contest of etudes "Discovery" was held at the "Luiza-V" music school.
Karl Czerny, whose etudes were presented at the competition, was a student of Beethoven. It was to him that Ludwig van Beethoven entrusted his third piano concerto. F. Liszt dedicated his etudes to Czerny.
Pianist Marina Mkrtchyan and pianist, composer Artur Avanesov were invited to the jury of the competition.
- What did children discover during the competition?
The competition showed that every day is full of "discoveries", excitement, overcoming difficulties, anxious waiting and joy of victories. Translated from French, the word "Etude" means "study", "effort".
Our children made a great effort to present the results of their and their teachers' work in the best possible way.
