On November 27, an etude competition was held at the music school "Luiza-V" under the name "Discovering", in which young students, the pianists from 3rd to 5th grades, took part. Sergey Kechek, a professor of the Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas, as well as a pianist, the producer of the State Philharmony Armen Manasyan, were invited to the jury.
The competition was held in a wonderful atmosphere. To applause, the participants took to the stage in order to demonstrate the results of their studies. The competition instilled a spirit of confidence in the participants and became a motivation: they firmly and with their heads held high will be able to continue on the chosen path.
Our goal of this competition was to discover the inner hidden abilities of our students, which they usually do not show during classes. We managed to achieve our goal, as well as make sure that each of the participants are individual and unique in their own way. This event has discovered a lot for both the students and our school. For children this competition was a good experience which, perhaps, will help them become more self-confident in the future.
