When a student is moved by their teacher to stand beside them on stage — something truly timeless is born.
On May 26, The National Centre of Chamber Music hosted a solo concert by our outstanding organ teacher and resident soloist, Karine Hovhannisyan.
A particularly joyful moment for us was when Maksim Matevosyan, a student from our organ class, took to the stage to perform a work by J.S. Bach. This marked his debut in such a prestigious concert setting, and he rose to the occasion with confidence and grace.
It is deeply meaningful when a teacher shares the stage with their student — even if only for a few moments. For a young musician, it is a tremendous step forward and a true gesture of trust.
Bravo to Maksim, and our sincere gratitude to Karine Hovhannisyan for her inspiring mentorship and unwavering belief in her students.
